What is accommodation? 

The term accommodation is a place of residence, a place to live, work, stay, etc. It can be a shortage of cheap accommodation or luxury, simply put, we have first and second class on this flight. To be able to book a room, user is using Trivago, Agoda, booking com or etc. There were different types of accommodation, such as Homestay, Hotel, Resort, Motel, etc.

5 strengths e-reservation for accommodation

  1. Easy access to information. It can easily provide user to access the information about available seats, price, and schedules. This makes easier for user to plan the journey and make informed decisions.
  2. Multiple payment options. E-reservation provide multiple payment options such as credit or debit cards, internet baking and e-wallet, which can make user to easily complete the booking process.
  3. Time saving. It can save a lot of time as you don't have to stand in long queues to book your tickets, just need to complete in phone and the entire process in just a few minutes.
  4. Convenience. You can book your tickets or make reservations from anywhere at any time as long as you have an internet connection. 
  5. Competitive pricing. This may allow you to compare the price and choose the best option that you want, because the information about the accommodations is all included there.

5 weakness e-reservation for accommodation

  1. Limited options. Somehow, e-reservation offers limited options for seating and other service compared to offline booking options.
  2. Technical issues. All booking information now were relying on technology, and technical issues such as server downtime, slow internet connectivity, or website crashes can occur.
  3. Lack of personal touch. E-reservation lacks the personal touch that comes with booking tickets in person. You don't get to interact with a person and ask questions or get recommendations.
  4. Security concerns. All payment are involves sharing personal and financial information online, which can be risk, such as could be hacked, leading to identify theft or financial fraud.
  5. Additional charges. E-reservation may involve additional charges such as service fees, convenience fees, or transaction fees, which can add up and increase the cost of your booking.
